Order of Practice
You need to master behaviours in the least distractible places before moving up, you should start in your home, and work your way up. Example:

1. Home

2. Yard

3. Neighbourhood

4. Parks

Dealing With Problem Behaviours
Television programs, and old school trainers stress the importance of dominance, new research shows this is not important with domesticated dogs. More important is leadership, positive reinforcement, mental and physical exercise, and proper training. All dogs cause problems, it is important that you deal with these problems patiently, persistently, and consistently. The use of force is not permitted at the training facility, and for good reason, it can make things much worse. Timeouts, and removal of rewards are good punishments for dogs, they have minimal side effects and when administered correctly, they get the point across.
